Your body doesn’t have to feel like the enemy.
Somatic and IFS psychotherapy for high-achieving women navigating chronic health issues, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders and nervous system dysregulation. Together, we slow things down, and begin building a relationship with yourself rooted in safety, trust, flexibility, and compassion.
You're used to pushing through.
Maybe you've always been independent, driven, sensitive, responsible, or the person others rely on.
Yet it often feels like you’re stuck, not doing “enough”, perhaps experiencing burnout and your body feels like it is screaming at you.
Maybe chronic pain or health symptoms have made your body feel unpredictable. Maybe you're exhausted from constantly monitoring how you feel. Maybe you've spent years moving between appointments, searching for answers, adjusting routines, and wondering what your body needs from you.
You may notice yourself thinking:
What if this symptom gets worse?
Why can't my body just cooperate?
If I just follow this diet perfectly, I’ll feel better.
Should I push through or should I rest?
Why can't I handle what I used to be able to handle?
And underneath all of it may be grief, fear, frustration, exhaustion, or a growing sense of disconnection.
You don't have to prove that what you're experiencing is real here. I believe you.
Therapy with me can hold both truths: your physical experiences deserve to be taken seriously, and your nervous system deserves support navigating what it means to live inside a body that hasn't always felt predictable or safe.
Therapy that considers both mind AND body.

How to work with me?
I offer virtual therapy for clients throughout New York and Connecticut, with in-person sessions available from my Hartsdale, NY office.
My practice is designed for clients seeking specialized, individualized therapy that integrates traditional talk therapy with IFS, somatic work, trauma-informed care, and nervous-system support.
Our sessions are rooted in:
-

Compassion
Meeting yourself with kindness instead of constantly asking yourself to push harder, do better, or be different.
-

Curiosity
Learning to become curious about your thoughts, emotions, symptoms, and protective responses rather than immediately fighting against them.
-

Honesty
Creating space for the complicated truths; the anger, grief, fear, resentment, relief, exhaustion, and hope that can coexist within healing.
-

Empathy
Being deeply witnessed without needing to minimize, explain, or prove the reality of what you're experiencing.
“I will not rescue you. For you are not powerless. I will not fix you. For you are not broken. I will not heal you. For I see you, in your wholeness. I will walk with you through the darkness, as you remember your light.”
